Ramgarhia Girls College, Miller Ganj, Ludhiana, a Pioneer educational insitution in the Punjab State, was established in the year 1970 on the occasion of quincentenary celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji.
The inspiration behind this institution Late Baba Gurmukh Singh, a great philanthropist. Striving for excellence since its inception, the college has been on the forefront of women's education under the able stewardship and patronage of Late Giani Bhagat Singh Ji and Late S. Jagat Singh Ji and at present is being efficiently run under the patronage of S. Ranjodh Singh President, Ramgarhia Educational Council. The college has a well equipped computerized library. It is well stocked with journals, magazines and daily newspapers to which new additions are made every year. Students are encouraged to make the best use of the library that remains open during the working hours of the college.
For the out station students the college provides Hostel facility for which separate fees is charged. The college has a magnificent hostel with accommodation for 100 students. All modern facilities have been provided in the hostel
