Re-exam scheduled on September 26th for HSC and SSC
Maharashtra state board for secondary and higher secondary education released examination scheduled for HSC and SSC students giving a second attempt will start in September and end in October.
An MSBSHSE circular said the both the higher secondary certificate (HSC) and secondary school certificate (SSC) written examinations will commence on September 26, but end on October 18 and 11 respectively.
MSBSHSE's Kolhapur divisional secretary Sharad Gosavi told TOI, "This year, we are likely to receive around 9,000 applications for the HSC examinations and around 12,000 applications for SSC. The numbers are lesser this year compared to previous years due to better results."
Gosavi said that though the last date for filling application forms was past, students could still apply with a late fee till the second week of September.
The SSC passing percentage in Kolhapur division this year was 93.83(%). In the HSC examination, the passing percentage in the division was 91.54(%), better than the previous year's 84.14(%).
