In view of the changing hospitality education at global level, after long deliberations and brain storming sessions in numbers of meetings, conferences, seminars and work shops both at private as well as government level for over more than 50 years an idea emerged  in the year 2008  to bring autonomy and concentrate exclusively on hospitality education, and finally the FHRAI Education Trust was established . The academic block also has a mock room for practical classes in housekeeping and a mock reception desk for front office training. The vacant area in the plot has attractive well maintained landscaping. There are outdoor sports facilities like tennis, badminton, Volleyball and basketball. There is an indoor fitness center or gym for the students.

Faculty

The FHRAI Institute has four core departments for teaching; F&B Service, F&B Production, Front Office and Housekeeping. The teacher-student ratio is 1:20 as per the accepted international norms. In fact considering the students away on business internships, the ratio may be 1:15 for students on the campus.

Care has been taken to find well-qualified faculty with Industry as well as teaching experience.
